Catechesis for the month of January 2026
In Scripture, praise to God is often expressed using stringed instruments such as the psaltery, lyre, or harp. Each string has its own sound, but together they create one melody.
The fourth string is the string of the heart. Through listening and meditating on the Word, it makes us spiritual, inhabited by the Spirit. It is the Spirit who cries out and sings with us: “Abba,” “Father.” Through the Spirit, our heart vibrates with a different kind of love and is transformed to reach a full communion with God.
